West Bridgford Park!!
Buses run quite regular on a Sunday and it's only 10 mins from the city centre too!
It is a lovely clean park with lots to do for all ages. There is a very big grassed area which is perfect for picnics, ball games, maybe even kite flying!
There is also a drink/ice cream kiosk and toilets (remember some change you need 20p for use of the toilets). West Bridgford has a range of shops/cafes/restaurants so if you did forget a picnic or fancied lunch somewhere there is plenty on offer.
Buses: 5,6,7,8,9 to Central Avenue, W.B
Catch the bus opposite Boots, Parliment Street or Central Library, Market Square.

Is there slides and swings etc at west brigeford park?
ReplyDeleteyes there are, 3 diff slides for diff age groups, lots of little things to do, a sand pit and also exercise aparatus around the field itself!
